So from then on I went on to appearing in tons of magazines, did TV and radio interviews, traveled around Europe to meet fans, starting working on a game show called Endurance UK II with Paul Ross, made lots of appearances on shows for Bravo TV and ITV. I have been shot by some of the worlds leading photographers and have even been shot by the rock star Bryan Adams who is super cool and one of my good friends to this day. I also went on to appear in numerous editions of Playboy Newsstand Specials such as “Natural Beauties, Wet 'n' Wild and College Girls” for 5 years.
These days I model part time and I’m working on my art that I’m putting together, I’m actually working on my first piece and it’s a Marilyn Monroe collage its size is 48”x36” so its pretty big. I’m going to create 10 pieces to begin with and hopefully have a showing at a gallery out here in LA. My collages are based around fashion and famous people. I’m also starting college in 2 weeks and studying Spanish.
I’m absolutely crazy about art and all things creative. My favourite being pop art. Who knows maybe one of you guys will be the first to buy one of my pieces. I will be blogging about my art and uploading pictures of me in the studio.
Enjoy the rest of the site.

From when I was really young I always knew I wanted to be a model, or an actress so from the age of sixteen I started to pursue my dream, but with not much luck and lots of doors being slammed in my face. Literally for 10 years I tried on a regular basis to break into modeling until finally one day I saw a competition in the Sun Newspaper in England that a magazine named Perfect 10 were looking for England’s Perfect 10 model and the prize was $50,000.
So naturally when I read this I said to myself “I can do that”. So I had just got back from LA where I did a test shoot for Playboy to be a Playmate and from that shoot with Stephen Wayda he gave me some polaroids from the Playboy shoot, I sent one of these to the Sun Newspaper as my entry. So 3 days later I got a call from the legendary Page 3 photographer Beverly Goodway asking me how quickly can I get to London to do a shoot for the competition. At this point I was shaking and couldn’t believe after all these years of trying to break into modeling that I was now finally getting my first break. I wanted to tell Beverly that I could be there now but that was being unrealistic so we arranged a shoot for 2 days later. The night before I couldn’t sleep with the excitement of doing my first professional shoot.
Anyway he called me back that afternoon and told me he was shooting me in Santa Barbara in two days time.
I was so excited I was going to appear in the magazine and have a chance at winning the $50,000. Ps I also got paid $5,000 for the shoot. I was very happy and Mission Accomplished.
The shoot went amazing and the pictures were dynamite, I was thrilled. (You can see them on my gallery page).
About 3 months after the shoot I had been on holiday in Barbados and when I returned to London I started to check my voicemail on the way back from the airport. I simply got a voicemail from Norm saying “Hi Tara just wanted to let you know that you’ve won the competion and your cheque’s in the post, Bye”. I think I started screaming and my boyfriend said what is it Tara, when I told him I won he was thrilled and said "well done honey".
I couldn’t believe in a matter of only a few months my career was going from strength to strength and it felt great.

The following day I took the train from Birmingham to London and arrived at Beverly’s studio, he was so warm and kind and immediately I felt comfortable and relaxed. After having my hair and makeup done and feeling like a million dollars I was ready to create some amazing shots. When I stood in front of the camera I knew instantly that’s where I belonged and needless to say Beverly was also very impressed. Together we took shot after shot and created some great pictures. After an amazing day I got back on the train and headed back home.
I woke up the next day and got the Sun Newspaper as I always did to read whilst having my coffee and opened it up to see that I was on Page 3. I couldn’t believe it and was totally in shock because I thought the pictures were going straight to the states for Perfect 10 Magazine to see. I called Beverly to find out why I was on Page 3 and he said the Editors love you and want you to be a Page 3 girl also.
So pretty much from that day on my life changed, the Sun were booking me constantly for lots of photographic assignments and I made appearances weekly on Page 3. I became a household name overnight and it felt great. Those 10 years of knocking on doors had finally started to pay off.
In the meantime I never heard anything back about the Perfect 10 competition and was feeling a bit frustrated by this so I decided to take things into my own hands and flew out to Los Angeles and go to the offices of Perfect 10 Magazine and introduce myself. I believed I had what it took to WIN this competition.
I think we'd all agree...we want to see a lot more of Tara!
When I arrived at the Perfect 10 mansion Norm Zadeh who is the owner of the magazine opened the door and looked at me as if to stay “yes, can I help you”. I said to him “Yes you can, my name is Tara and I have flown here from London to personally introduce myself and ask that you consider me as a contestant for your competition. Here’s my portfolio and all my press clippings from England”, so he said come in. After a brief meeting I told Norm that I’m only here for 5 days so if you decide to shoot me it needs to be now as I’m busy back in London with numerous shoots. I think he looked at me as if to say, “this girl is crazy”.
